Check out the Intuit Crypto Center of ExcellenceĪn expert in the Intuit ecosystem is someone with an advanced level of domain knowledge who provides a service, guidance, or information to customers. In some broader contexts, we use crypto as an umbrella term that includes related technologies and applications. There's no universal symbol for cryptocurrency. Do uppercase the proper names of blockchains, crypto technologies, or communities (Bitcoin blockchain, Ethereum). If you need to refer to a specific cryptocurrency, use lowercase, as you would for traditional currencies (dollar, yen). Only refer to a specific type by name if the customer needs that info for context. Use crypto to describe any one of the cryptocurrencies. You can say crypto or cryptocurrencies when you’re referring to the multiple types collectively (bitcoin, ether, tether, and so on). Even in those cases, though, it’s fine to switch to crypto after first mention. Cryptocurrency may work better in educational content, if you’re providing a general overview of what crypto is. It’s short, easy to read, and customers understand what it means. It’s OK to use crypto pretty much everywhere.
